Essential Responsibilities
Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection
Promotes compliance with HS&E standards and applicable regulations
Creates and facilitates the Project Quality Program
Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, and building codes
Develops and maintains the construction schedule
Leads project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Provides strong leadership to the construction team
Identifies and manages opportunities and risks
Maintains, tracks, and reports all financial aspects of the project
Qualifications
10 plus years of experience as a Project Manager in the Telecommunications industry
Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices
Strong negotiation and management skills
Ability to plan and manage project schedules
Strong understanding of construction costs and budgets
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues
Ability to build successful teams and promote teamwork
Skills in facilitation, mentoring, and conflict resolution
Strong organizational and planning skills
