Charter School Specialists, the premier leader in the Charter School world of sponsor representation, is seeking qualified candidates for the open position of Project Manager Assistant.RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: As an administrative support role, this position primarily supports the work of the Director of Special Projects: and the various administrative functions of Charter School Specialists. The Project Manager Assistant shall know and or learn the various administrative functions related to the operation and oversight of public charter schools. These functions will involve reviewing school calendars, enrollment processes, State school directory systems, safety plans, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities include collecting, organizing and storing board and compliance materials.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Assist in the review of compliance submissions for accuracy and provide communication and support to community school administrators and educational management organizations (EMOs) to ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements Assist in the coordination of compliance requirements within online document management systemAssist in the collection, submission, and entering current and accurate data related to work responsibilities within designated timeframe.Assist in the compilation and preparation of information and data for required reporting Assist in the maintaining and updating community schools compliance documents as neededAssist in the preparation and submission of reports as requested; Assist in the completion of projects from other departments as needed or assignedSKILLS REQUIRED:Proficient in Microsoft Office that includes: Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher and ADOBE AcrobatAbility to manage deadlines and multiple projectsAbility to work and complete projects with minimal supervisionExcellent customer serviceAble to adapt to new technology Detail orientedMinimal travel (when required)REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:2 years work related experience with an Ohio Community School Sponsor, the Ohio Department of Education or a Community or a Traditional School 2 years experience with Microsoft Office software to create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, forms, publications and presentations; scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars and creating and sending emails using Outlook. 1 year office setting with customer serviceThis position is located in our Pickerington, Ohio office.
