Position: Assistant Project Manager
Reports to: VP of Technology Services
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $65,000 - $105,000

The Superior Group is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help support our Technology Services department. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping make estimation and operations more efficient and will play a key role in our management, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio and will be a member of TSG’s Technology Services and Project Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s, and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into the project documents
- Supports all project documents, including estimates, design drawings, and specifications, while contributing to the estimation process and developing drawing takeoffs for new opportunities
- Responsible for preparing, organizing, submitting and revising the project submittals through approval
- Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders
- Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite
- Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Technology Services and Field Operations leaders
- Work closely with the Foreman on the delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite
- Lead project close-out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as-builds, and attic stock
- Begin to develop an understanding of project finances, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leaders
Assists with cost code tracking and accuracy. Monitoring percent complete on labor and material by cost code

- You’re a strong communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organization
Your Expertise
- You earned your Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, Construction Management Program certificate, or another related degree
- Bonus points if you have prior experience in commercial project management
