This stealth startup company is bringing in an experienced and innovative Thermal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization for high-performance computing architecture. As a technical leader of the thermal mechanical engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet demanding performance, thermal, and reliability specifications for hyperscale data centers and cloud providers. Responsibilities Develop innovative cooling solutions to optimize thermal performance and efficiency in high-power applications, leveraging expertise in fluid dynamics and heat transfer Conduct comprehensive thermal and mechanical analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize system design, ensuring reliable and efficient operation Design and test prototypes to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with performance and safety criteria, utilizing a combination of simulation and experimental methods Analyze test results and iterate designs to achieve optimal performance, ensuring that the cooling solution meets the needs of the application and minimizes energy consumption Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the cooling solution into the overall system design, ensuring seamless operation and optimal thermal performance Qualifications Advanced engineering degree (mechanical, electrical engineering, etc.) 5+ years of industry experience related to thermal mechanical engineering A startup mentality is required
