Job Overview

The Space and Occupancy PM provides ongoingspace/occupancy planning

expertise in support of routine and Capital design / construction

projects, organizational growth, and operational changes, plus maintains

digital as-built record drawings for all CHCO sites.Successful candidates can

create furniture and real estate feasibility studies that inform project

viability and optimize the use of space in AutoCAD

analyze and report on space allocation, portfolio optimization,

organizational unit assignments, utilization, and change of use requests

using Archibus

perform physical space audits and maintain occupancy metrics

manage outsourced digital design drawing workflow to ensure Life Safety

documents and IWMS software platform are accurate

Department Name:Planning Design Construction

Job Status:Full time, 40 hours per week.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, In person

Qualifications

EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance,

computer science, or a directly related field. Concentration in interior

Architecture preferred

EXPERIENCE - Preferred skills include AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and

Archibus (or similar IWMS tool). Working knowledge of building systems,

codes, construction standards, contract administration, and project

coordination. Proficient in interior design principles, three (3) years

of planning and project management.

EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of bachelor's degree, four years of professional

experience will substitute.

Responsibilities

POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE

No direct patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the

following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the

functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

1.Develops and gains approval of planning, design and construction project

plans, which outline the objectives of the project, scope of work, and

project elements.

2.Coordinates the vendor selection process; a sists with contract

negotiations and preparations then monitors projects for conformance to

approved plans and contract specifications.

3.Develops and monitors project budgets, which includes allocating resources

and tracking and approving expenditures; prepares reports detailing the

status of the project budget.

4.Coordinates the work of consultants and team members who have been assigned

responsibility for various portions of a project; confers with

multi-disciplinary leaders to establish work plan responsibilities and scope

of authority; ensures technical proficiency and productivity of project

staff and arranges for training as necessary.
