Job Description
As a GPU Logic Design Engineer/PPA Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Work on the logic design and physical design for graphics IPs (including graphics, compute, display, and media)
- Work on timing, area and power improvement on Graphics core.
- Participate in the definition of architecture and microarchitecture features of the block being designed.
- Apply various strategies, tools, and methods to implement and optimize logic to qualify the design to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals as well as design integrity for physical implementation.
- Should be well versed on all stages of physical design and methodologies to help on improving PPA for Graphics IP cores.
- Very well versed with physical implementation tools and have managed EDA vendors
Candidates should possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM Degree with 6+ years of related experience OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM Degree with 4+ years of related experience.
- Above related experience should include experience with physical design or logic synthesis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CPU or GPU Architecture (Computer Architecture Knowledge).
- Experience with PPA improvement
- Experience with low power implementation
Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $186,070.00-$262,680.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience Working Model This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
