We're searching for a Quality Engineer with a strong background in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)—someone who doesn’t just understand safety compliance but thrives on building smarter, safer systems in high-stakes aerospace environments. If you know how to translate OSHA regs into operational excellence and have a passion for quality in manufacturing, read on.
Your Mission:
In this role, you’ll act as a key driver of EHS performance, shaping a culture of safety and quality in a high-tech aerospace manufacturing environment. You’ll lead efforts in program development, compliance, risk mitigation, training, and incident response—all while aligning with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the design, implementation, and enforcement of the facility’s safety and quality programs, policies, and procedures.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Advise and audit line management to ensure proactive implementation of EHS initiatives.
- Conduct employee orientation, emergency response drills, and ongoing safety training.
- Collaborate on the ergonomic design of production equipment and processes.
- Develop, launch, and manage a Safety Management System, tracking KPIs and corrective actions.
- Ensure all EHS documentation, permits, and regulatory reports are up to date and audit-ready.
- Monitor contractor compliance with company safety protocols.
- Lead or support accident investigations, root cause analyses, and submission of required reports.
- Recommend and track corrective and preventative actions across teams.
- Champion a safety-first culture—motivate staff, recognize advocates, and lead by example.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with AS9100, NADCAP, and other aerospace standards.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, and aerospace safety standards.
- Proven ability to develop and lead training programs for diverse teams.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to operate independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus.
- Must be able to navigate the facility to inspect equipment, observe work practices, and support incident investigations.
Why Us?
- Work at the forefront of cutting-edge defense technology—where your attention to detail and safety-first mindset directly supports mission success.
- Join a company that values accountability, innovation, and operational discipline.
- Enjoy a competitive salary, benefits, and the satisfaction of doing work that matters.
This isn’t just another EHS or quality role. It’s your opportunity to be the go-to expert who ensures safety, compliance, and performance in an industry where failure isn’t an option.
If you're ready to lead from the front and raise the bar—apply now.
