Senior Project Manager - Road Design

Are you a seasoned roadway engineer looking for a leadership opportunity with a clear path to executive-level growth? I am seeking a Senior Project Manager – Road Design to lead high-impact transportation projects in Indianapolis, IN while mentoring a team of engineers and managing key client relationships. This position does offer relocation assistance. What You’ll Do:

• Oversee roadway and hydraulic design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, proposals, and schedules.
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians.
• Manage client relations as the primary point of contact for local, state, and federal projects.
• Ensure designs uphold AASHTO, INDOT, and DOT standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GeoPAK, InRoads, GuideSIGN, and AutoTURN for road design modeling.

What You Need:

• 25+ years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in road design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana or able to Obtain in the State.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Required)
• Strong background in Design-Build and P3 projects (Required).
• Department of Transportation project experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GeoPAK, and InRoads.
• Excellent team leadership, client management, and risk assessment skills.
