Project Engineer
Job Description

The Project Engineer is responsible for document control of all plans and specifications, development of tracking logs, shop drawings, RFIs, POs, proposals, RFQs and other job specific documentation. They will also maintain cost tracking database, establish project scopes, and bid set specs and assist preconstruction and the PM with solicitation of bids for all trades. The Project Engineer will monitor any scope changes for compliance and pricing, process all field change orders, RFPs and RFIs. The Project Engineer will participate and present at OAC and contractors weekly progress meetings. As part of Close-out, they will assist the PA in tracking the checklist, collecting all operations manuals, and prepare and submit as-built drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Control documents for all plans and specifications.
  • Develop tracking logs, shop drawings, RFIs, POs, proposals, RFQs, and other job-specific documentation.
  • Maintain cost tracking database.
  • Establish project scopes and bid set specifications.
  • Assist preconstruction and PM with solicitation of bids for all trades.

  • Process all field change orders, RFPs and RFIs.
  • Participate and present at OAC and contractors weekly progress meetings.
  • Assist PA in tracking the checklist during close-out.

Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on multi-family projects.
  • Proficient in Procore.
  • Bachelor's degree in a construction-related engineering discipline.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of multi-family construction.
Work Environment

On-site in the Columbus office (Dublin).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
